Man Punched Scooter Driver Who Woke Up Kid In Wrightstown: Police
A person riding a scooter in Wrightstown was allegedly punched Monday by a man who was apparently angry he had woken up his kid, police say.

A man riding his scooter in Wrightstown Township was allegedly assaulted Monday night by a man who was apparently angry he had woken up his child, Newtown Township Police said.
Police are investigating the alleged incident, which happened around 8 p.m. at Sackettsford and Rushland roads at approximately 8 p.m.
The victim told police that he was out riding his scooter on Sackettsford Road when a pickup truck pulled up behind him and stopped. The driver approached him, saying the victim "woke up his kid," and then punched him once in the face.

The victim said that he was temporarily knocked out. When he woke up, the man and car were gone.
The truck is described as a mid-to-late 90s white Toyota Tacoma with two doors and a possible extended cab. The truck was in "beat up" condition, police said.

The man is described as being black, in his 30s, standing about 6'1" to 6'3" tall, and weighing about 270 pounds. The man has a muscular build, with trimmed side burns that went into a beard. He was wearing a black baseball hat with a white brim.
Police believe the man lives in the area where the assault occurred.
