Man Smashed Car Window At The NAC, Stole Purse: Police

Newtown Township Police are trying to identify a man who allegedly smashed a car window at the Newtown Athletic Club and stole a woman's purse, then made several purchases with the enclosed credit cards.

According to police, the theft was reported March 16 around 5:30 a.m.

The victim’s front passenger window was smashed and her purse, which had numerous credit cards, was stolen. Several purchases were later made with the stolen credit cards, including at a Sunoco in Newtown and a Walmart in Levittown.

The following photos of the suspect have been released by Newtown Township Police. Authorities believe he drives a silver mini van. (If you can recognize the person, submit an online tip here. )
