McCaffrey's Gets Approval To Sell Beer, Wine
A liquor license transfer has been approved for McCaffrey's in Newtown Township. The store will be selling beer and wine for take out.

NEWTOWN, PA — McCaffrey's will be permitted to sell beer and wine, now that a liquor license transfer was approved Wednesday by the Newtown Township supervisors.
The supermarket, located in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center, will be permitted to operate a cafe with seating and the "service of alcoholic beverages to the public." The cafe is described to have a menu to include sushi, pizza, a hot bar and more (these items are already currently sold in the store's food court.)
Additionally, McCaffrey's will be able to sell beer and wine for take out.

According to the application submitted to the township, McCaffrey's intends to remodel its existing cafe and add more seating.
The liquor license was transferred from Milford Township.
