Memorial Day in Newtown: Stop in after the parade!

This is the last weekend to catch the student art show at Countryside Gallery on State Street, Newtown. OPEN MEMORIAL DAY from 10 am - 6 pm

There is still time to view the work of 32 aspiring young artists from the Newtown area, currently being showcased now through June 1st at the Spring Youth Art Show hosted by Countryside Gallery.

The students, who are all age 8-18, work in various fine art mediums including pencil, pastel, watercolor, and acrylic painting. The art students are very excited to be sharing their work with their community, and grateful to be given this opportunity by the art gallery!

Consider coming out to support these talented young artists whose work will remain on display now through June 1st. Admission is free. Gallery hours are: Saturday 10am to 7pm, Sunday 11 am to 4 pm, Memorial Day through Wednesday 10 am to 6 pm. The gallery is located at 2 South State Street.
