Middletown Grange Fair 2026: 5 Days Of Animals, Food, And Fun

WRIGHTSTOWN, PA — The Middletown Grange Fair, a Bucks County tradition since 1948, runs through this weekend with full days of agricultural fun, food, and animals.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Amusement rides open at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and 12 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free; there is a $20 fee per car for parking.

The event is again featuring everything people have come to know and love about the fair, including its famous chicken dinner (Thursday to Saturday only), 4-H barns filled with animals, fair food, community exhibition barns, and carnival rides and games.

Last year’s tractor pull is back with daily shows. The popular tractor parade will be making its rounds. A high-wire show is promising thrills. And the exhibition barns will again be filled with thousands of judged entries from baked goods to vegetables, and quilts.

Making its debut this year on the fairgrounds will be the Pirates of the Colombian Caribbean, a live action-adventure show that takes place on top of a giant 60 foot pirate ship. Fairgoers are invited to watch as performers engage in sword fights, rope slides, and other stunts on a high wire 20 feet in the air.

Also adding to the fair experience will be professional chainsaw sculptor Benjamin Rannels, who is known for transforming wood into jaw-dropping pieces of art. Equipped with chainsaws, grinding tools, and selected paints, he creates majestic sculptures from leaping white-tail deer to over 12ft tall Grizzly bears. He will be demonstrating live chainsaw carving Wednesday to Saturday at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. and on Sunday at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m.

At the heart of the fair will be its many 4-H farm-raised animals and shows. And this year’s fair will not disappoint, said organizers.

More than 300 4-H-raised animals, from bleating sheep and squealing pigs to mooing cows, will again fill the fairground barns with the sounds of the farm. The schedule is again packed with shows and competitions taking place throughout the fair's five days.

The fair opens Wednesday with the rabbit and cavy show, 4-H poultry show (modified), alpaca and llama show, and the 4-H market and hog show. Thursday brings the goat show, the 4-H Stockman’s Contest, and the Raymond C. & Rachel H. Gross 4-H Dairy Judging Contest. Friday spotlights the Holstein and Sheep Shows. Saturday features the 4-H Dairy and Beef Cattle Shows and the 4-H Market Hog Auction. And Sunday brings the 4-H Goat Obstacle and the Rabbit and Cavy Parade of Breeds.

Of course, no fair would be complete without its food options. This year's menu is headlined by the Grange Fair's annual chicken dinner to be served on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m. or until sold out.

This year's food vendor line up includes: Amalio's Pizza and Pasta, Beach Beans Coffee Company, Best Darn Kettlecorn, BowlFace, Golden Soft Pretzels, Marchione's (sausage, gyros, cheesesteaks, specialty soda, lemonade, fresh fries), Menagerie Foods (BBQ), Owowcow (ice cream), Pockitz (specialty empanadas), Rita's Water Ice, Skip's Chicken, Stix 2 G, Top Dog, Twisted Kitchen (pierogies and eggrolls), Vampire Penguin (shaved ice, boba drinks) and Waff'd (sweet and savory waffles on a stick).

Admission to the fair is free, but there is a $20 (cash only) fee per vehicle to park. Proceeds from the parking fee will benefit the Lingohocken Fire Company and Bucks County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 53 whose members serve as the fair's parking attendants.
