Minivan Crashes Into Canal Bridge In Washington Crossing
A minivan traveling southbound on Route 532 went off the roadway and struck the canal bridge over the weekend, said police.
UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA —A minivan traveling southbound on Route 532 from the direction of River Road went off the roadway and struck the canal bridge over the weekend in Washington Crossing.
The roadway was closed as the Upper Makefield Emergency Services handled the scene. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries, police said in a Facebook posting.
The roadway is open, but in the future it will be closed again when PennDOT begins repairs to the bridge structure.
