One area mom is vowing to “pay it forward” after a Northampton Township police officer picked up her family’s tab at a local pizza shop.

According to a post on the Northampton Township Police Department’s Facebook page, Chantell McGuigan said she went out for pizza Wednesday night.

“When we got there, a Northampton cop was ordering his dinner to go. He was in his uniform so of course my kids wanted to talk to him!,” McGuigan said, adding her kids asked him ”1,000” questions.

Her daughter mentioned it was almost her birthday.

“After our meal, our ticket came with a note on the bottom that said our meal was paid for by the police officer who wanted to wish Riley a happy birthday! I wish I knew who he was so I could thank him but I know his name was officer Tim. Thank you, officer Tim for being so kind to my kids and so gracious to us. We will pay it forward!”
