More Than 20 Food Trucks Expected At Sunday Event In Newtown

NEWTOWN, PA — The Summer Send-Off Edition of the Newtown Food Truck Fest is this Sunday from 1 to 8 p.m. at Council Rock North High School.

The event was planned after an overwhelming response to the first-ever Newtown Food Truck Fest in June. This time around, organizers are promising a bigger and better event with more food trucks and longer hours.

This weekend's Food Truck Fest, like the event in June, is a fundraiser for the Newtown Theatre. It will feature more than 20 food trucks serving up a wide variety of food and desserts. Parking for the event is a suggested donation of $10.

In addition to the food trucks, the event will feature music and more children’s activities. Attendees are invited to bring their own blankets or chairs. Alcohol is not permitted. The event will be held rain or shine.

Council Rock North is located at 62 Swamp Rd, Newtown.
