More Than 2K Without Power In Newtown

The power has gone out for many in Newtown on Wednesday afternoon.

As of 1:45 p.m., PECO is reporting more than 2,100 outages in Newtown borough and township. Another 1,300-plus are without power in nearby Northampton Township.

As of now, the cause of the outage is not known. A restoration time has not been posted on the outage map.
