More Weather Changes On The Way For Pennsylvania: Here's The 7-Day Forecast

Did you enjoy the chilly, fall-like temperatures over the weekend? Well, don't get too used to it. Summer-like warmth is coming back to Pennsylvania, forecasters say.

Temperatures will average 10 to 15 degrees above normal this week, and some record-breaking high temperatures could occur. “Some record highs may be challenged, since average temperatures trend downward at a swift pace during October,” AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Alex Sosnowski said.

The daytime warmth could make it tricky to dress your children for school.

"It's the type of weather pattern where many people will need long sleeves and a jacket first thing in the morning and evening, and shorts and short sleeves for the afternoon," Sosnowski said in a news release.

It will also remain dry for the most part. There is a slight chance of showers on Friday. Other than that, the chances of precipitation this week are nonexistent in the Eastern Pennsylvania region, according to the National Weather Service.
