Movies In The Park Returns To Newtown's Linton Park This Week
The public is encouraged to bring chairs or blankets. Free popcorn will be provided. There is no cost to attend.

NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Newtown Borough Recreation Board will show a Movie in the Park on Wednesday, June 17, coinciding with Council Rock's last day of school.
"This will be the only movie of the summer, but we will be back with another movie in the park to kick off the new school year on September 11," said board members.
This week's movie - "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" - will be shown at sundown at Linton Park, Lincoln Avenue and Penn Street across from the CVS Pharmacy.

The 1986 film, starring Matthew Broaderick, is about a high school senior who skips school for an epic day driving around Chicago and enlists his best friend and girl friend - Alan Ruck and Mia Sara - to join him on the adventure.
