Movies in the Park, Newtown Borough's free outdoor movie series, will wrap up its 2016 season Wednesday with a screening of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
The movie is rated PG-13 and gets underway at 8 p.m. at Linton Memorial Park, which is located at the corner of Lincoln and Penn streets across the street from CVS in Newtown Borough.
It is the final outdoor movie for the year. Other titles during the 2016 season included "E.T.," "Enchanted" and "Labyrinth."

It looks like Wednesday night's weather will cooperate for the outdoor movie. It's expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 65.
