Mummers To Perform Free Concert In Newtown
If you missed the Mummers Parade, you'll have another chance to enjoy the fun sounds by the Uptown String Band in Newtown.
If you missed the Philadelphia Mummers Parade, you'll have a chance to enjoy the fun sounds by the Uptown String Band during an upcoming performance in Newtown.
The band will perform on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 6:30 p.m.at The Birches at Newtown. The musical event is free and open to the public.
The Uptown String Band is a non-profit organization based in Parkland, Pa. Uptown is a member of the Philadelphia Mummers String Band Association. Since 1938, members have participated in the annual Mummers Parade in Philadelphia on New Year’s Day.
