Music Returns To The Street In Newtown Borough With Summer Series
Attendees are encouraged to "make it a night in the borough" by grabbing dinner, drinks or a tasty dessert before or after the concerts.

NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — "Music on the Street” returns to Newtown Borough beginning this week with an eclectic series of eight free outdoor concerts.
Attendees are encouraged to "make it a night in the borough" by grabbing dinner, drinks or a tasty dessert before or after the concerts at one of the town's local establishments.
This year’s concert series will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on the short stretch of Greene Street between State Street and the Newtown Creek (next to the Newtown Bicycle Shop). Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs.

This year’s summer lineup includes:
- The Triplets playing eclectic classic rock and more – July 11
- Matt Dorsey playing his original music – July 18
- Keith Chasin Jazz Quartet playing pop jazz – July 25
- Faraway Guys playing classic rock, blues, and alternative – August 1
- Brad Hinton playing acoustical songs of heartbreak and hope – August 8
- RSVP Brass Quintet playing traditional and exotic brass tunes – August 15
- Dockside playing classic rock – August 22
- Meg Russell playing her original music & singer/songwriter classics – August 29
The concerts are weather dependent. Rain, excess heat, or other bad weather may result in cancellation. Canceled concerts will not be rescheduled.

Music on the Street is presented by the historic Newtown Theatre and the Newtown Experience Committee.
