Musicians, Homes Needed For Newtown PorchStock
Porchstock is a free, walkable music festival held on front porches, front yards or driveways throughout Newtown.
NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Newtown Experience is looking for musicians and homeowners to participate in the 2nd annual “Newtown Porchstock” on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Porchstock is a free, walkable music festival held on front porches, front yards or driveways throughout Newtown Borough. The event is a way for local bands and musicians to showcase their talents and the community to come together and celebrate Newtown.
During Porchstock, attendees walk between houses at their own pace, stopping to listen to various musicians along the way. Musical genres range from folk and rock to jazz and country. Last year’s event attracted several dozen musicians and well over 1,000 attendees.
