NAC Owner to Donate $15K to Newtown Library Company
Jim Worthington, owner of the Newtown Athletic Club and developer of the Newtown Promenade, will present the check Monday.

Jim Worthington, owner of the Newtown Athletic Club and developer of the Newtown Promenade on Sycamore Street, is donating $15,000 to the Newtown Library Company.
The money will be awarded Monday at the library steps; the general public is invited to attend the check presentation.
“As a major real estate developer in the region, Mr. Worthington is acutely aware that the overall culture and infrastructure of his community is paramount to the overall success and well-being of its residents. He considers the Newtown Library as integral to this well-being. Therefore, as he develops the Promenade Project it only made sense to give back in this way,” a statement from Worthington said.
