Naked Chocolate Opening Soon In Newtown

NEWTOWN, PA — A new chocolate shop is opening soon in Newtown.

Naked Chocolate, which previously operated in Philadelphia, will be opening in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center.

The business says it's embarking on a new concept, and has chosen Newtown for the location.

"The new concept will include our famous hot chocolate, unique chocolate bars, bon bons, salted caramels, and truffles," according to the Naked Chocolate Facebook page.

The shop will be located in the section of the shopping center that is currently home to Nothing Bundt Cakes and Pet Valu, a site map shows.

Philadelphia Inquirer food critic Michael Klein reports it is due to open in about three weeks. Patch has reached out to Naked Chocolate representatives, and they confirmed that date in a message Thursday.

The business is family-owned and operated. Owners are Justin Zaslow, Tom Block and Stanton Brown.
