Network Outages at BCCC Prompt Registration Cancellation

The college announced Tuesday evening that all systems are now operational and walk-in registration would be available Wednesday.

Network and phone outages on Tuesday prompted Bucks County Community College to cancel walk-in registration for fall classes.

The campuses were open despite the network and phone outages, which the college said were caused by a malfunction that required an emergency shutdown.

As of Tuesday evening, the college said via Facebook that all systems are operational and walk-in registration would resume Wednesday at the Newtown Campus.

The deadline to register for fall courses is Monday, Aug. 25.

  • Wednesday, August 20, 1 - 7 p.m. at Newtown Campus
  • Thursday, August 21, 1 – 7 p.m. at Newtown Campus
  • Monday, August 25, 1 – 7 p.m. at Newtown, Upper Bucks, and Lower Bucks campuses

Registration can also be done online by going to www.bucks.edu.
