New Art Gallery Opening In Yardley This Weekend
Touchstone Art Gallery will open in Yardley on Saturday. A ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m. will be followed by a full day of celebrations.

YARDLEY, PA — A new art gallery will open its doors in Yardley on Saturday. Touchstone Art Gallery, located at 11 E. Afton Avenue, will open at 11:30 a.m. with an official ribbon cutting ceremony and a full-day celebration that will include wine and cheese in the evening.
The gallery is owned by long-time Yardley resident Nancy Allen. It will offer original, one-of-a-kind works of art.
"Everything is hand crafted, with exquisite attention to detail and enduring patience to ensure the end result meets the demands of the artist. Each customer who purchases a piece of art will own the only one of its kind in the world," according to an announcement from the gallery.

Local business leaders are excited about the gallery's opening, also.
Jef Buehler, councilman and chair of the Yardley Business Enhancement Team, said Touchstone Gallery "will be a real asset to our downtown and community from both a cultural and economic standpoint; it fits in wonderfully with our vibrant food and beverage scene, and will tie in perfectly with our new Second Saturday promotions.”
Allen said the gallery will have a rotating array of new works throughout the year. There will also be special events, including "meet the artists" nights. “I’m excited to make these one-of-kind works of art available for our customers to explore, discover, and own,” she said.
Touchstone Gallery will be open Wednesday through Sunday with afternoon and evening hours. Appointments for private sales will also be available.
