New Clothing Store Opens On State Street In Newtown
J. McLaughlin is now open at 200 S. State Street in Newtown Borough.

NEWTOWN, PA — A new clothing store has opened on S. State Street in Newtown. J. McLaughlin is now open at 200 S. State Street. A grand opening celebration will be held Thursday, Nov. 29.
J.McLaughlin is a sportswear brand founded in 1977 by brothers Jay and Kevin McLaughlin. It offers classic clothes "with current relevance."
The 1,200 square foot store is located in a historic Georgian fieldstone and clapboard house.

According to the store: "The interior design calls to mind classic Bucks County charm, with original wood fireplaces, rattan panels, and fabrics that reference a colonial homespun look."
The Newtown location will feature a full assortment of women’s and men’s clothing and accessories.

McLaughlin is currently partnering with A Love For Life, a nonprofit organization that raises money for pancreatic cancer research. During the grand opening celebration, 15 percent of proceeds will benefit the organization.
