Council Rock Welcomes New Superintendent
Dr. Robert Fraser is the new superintendent of the Council Rock School District.
Council Rock School District has a new superintendent.
Dr. Robert Fraser started Wednesday, July 1.
He replaces Mark Klein, who will officially retire on Sept. 1. Klein will aid in the transition for two months.

Before coming to Council Rock, Fraser was the assistant superintendent at West Chester Area School District. Prior to that, he was the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at West Chester Area School District, which has 11, 600 students.
From July 2004 to December 2008, Fraser was a middle school principal at Fred S. Engle Middle School in the Avon Grove School District.

He has also served as a classroom teacher in Frederick County Public Schools and Baltimore County Public Schools in Maryland.
Klein had served as the district’s superintendent since 2004.
