New Council Rock Superintendent's First School Board Meeting Is Thursday
Dr. Robert Fraser's first meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Chancellor Center in Newtown.

Dr. Robert Fraser, who started at Council Rock on July 1, will be present for his first school board meeting as superintendent this Thursday.

Fraser replaces Mark Klein, who will officially retire on Sept. 1. Klein will aid in the transition for two months.

About Dr. Fraser:
Before coming to Council Rock, Fraser was the assistant superintendent at West Chester Area School District. Prior to that, he was the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at West Chester Area School District, which has 11, 600 students.

From July 2004 to December 2008, Fraser was a middle school principal at Fred S. Engle Middle School in the Avon Grove School District.
He has also served as a classroom teacher in Frederick County Public Schools and Baltimore County Public Schools in Maryland.
Klein had served as the district’s superintendent since 2004.
