New Leaders To Take The Helm At Newtown Area Reorganization Meetings
Special meetings are scheduled for Monday evening in Newtown, Northampton, Upper Makefield and Wrightstown.

NEWTOWN AREA — Township and borough governments will meet in special session on Monday night to welcome new members and to elect new leaders for the coming year.
Newtown Borough
- The Newtown Borough Council will hold a special reorganization meeting on Monday, Jan. 5, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Newtown Borough Hall, 23 North Main Street, Newtown. Newly-elected officials will be sworn in and the council will elect new leadership for the coming year.

- The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors will hold a special reorganization meeting on Monday, Jan. 5, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Newtown Township Building, 100 Municipal Drive, Newtown. New supervisors will be sworn in and the board will elect new leadership for the coming year.
Northampton Township
- The Northampton Township Board of Supervisors will hold a special reorganization meeting on Monday, Jan. 5, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Northampton Township Building, 55 Township Road. New supervisors will be sworn in and the board will elect new leadership for the coming year.

Upper Makefield
- The Upper Makefield Township Board of Supervisors will hold a special reorganization meeting on Monday, Jan. 5, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Upper Makefield Township Building on Eagle Road. New supervisors will be sworn in and the board will elect new leadership for the coming year.

Wrightstown Township
- The Wrightstown Township Board of Supervisors will hold a special reorganization meeting on Monday, Jan. 5, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Wrightstown Township Building on Second Street Pike. The board will elect new leadership for the coming year and consider other business.
