Newtown Arts Company Holding 'Always a Bridesmaid' Auditions

The Newtown Arts Company will be holding auditions for its June production of "Always a Bridesmaid."

Auditions are Saturday, April 7 from 1:30to 4:30 pm and Sunday, April 8 from 6 to 9 pm at Newtown United Methodist Church, 35 Liberty Street in Newtown.

Six women will be cast in this Jones-Hope-Wooten comedy about four friends who have sworn on the night of their Senior Prom to be in each other’s wedding, no matter what. Cast will include one woman age 20-30 and five age 40-60.

Performances are June 21-27 at Newtown Theatre, 120 N. State St. Newtown.

Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Bring photos, resume, and audition form complete with your conflicts. Click here to download the audition form.
