Want to make sure your child continues to build their reading skills this summer?
The Newtown Bookshop is hosting a Summer Reading Program, which will begin June 20 and go through Aug. 4. Meetings are held weekly for six weeks. (The program will not be held the week of July 4 to 8).
According to information from the bookshop, the program is taught by teachers and aims to foster the joy of reading in children entering Kindergarden through 5 grade.

Participants will read one book a week. Each meeting is an hour and a half. There will be crafts and activities, also. The cost to participate is $70 for the six-week session
