Newtown Borough Police Investigating 2 Thefts At CVS
In one case, 41 boxes of Mucinex were stolen. In the other, a suspect filled a trash bag and fled, Newtown Borough police said.

Police in Newtown Borough are investigating two thefts from the CVS on South Lincoln Avenue that were reported within days of each other.
On Feb.12 just before 4 p.m., someone stole 41 boxes of Mucinex and left the store without paying, police said. The suspect is described as being a white male wearing blue jeans, a black coat and a black snow cap. He fled in a black two-door car with unknown license plate driven by a white man.

The second theft happened around 3:40 p.m. on Feb. 18. Police said a man entered the store with an empty black trash bag. An employee became suspicious and the man fled, dropping a full trash bag of hair products and other items, police said.
The suspect is described as a black male with brown pants and dark-colored jacket.
