Newtown Business Association Expo Set for Sept. 10
The free event, which will showcase 70 local businesses, will be held at the Newtown Athletic Club.
The Newtown Business Association’s annual Business Expo & Culinary Fair will be held Sept. 10 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Newtown Athletic Club.
The 8th annual Expo will showcase about 70 local businesses. This year the Expo will focus on local dining.
Participating businesses will have raffles and prizes; 11 area restaurants will offer free food samples.

A grand prize package of $1,000 worth of gift certificates to local Newtown markets and restaurants will be awarded. Plus, one person will win a $250 gift certificate to McCaffrey’s Supermarkets.
Entry forms are available on the Newtown Business Association website, www.NewtownBA.org, at the Yardley and Newtown McCaffrey’s Markets on September 2 and 4, and at various retail locations in Newtown.

More than 700 attendees are expected.
“This event is a great place to meet local chefs, sample free tastings from local restaurants, view local businesses and network,” according to an announcement from the Newtown Business Association.
The event is free and open to the public. The Newtown Athletic Club is located at 209 Penns Trail, Newtown.
