Newtown Corner Bakery Hosted Coffee with Cops

The Newtown Police Department hosted an event at the Newtown Corner Bakery on November 7 inviting the community to join them for a cup of coffee to meet, discuss community issues and build relationships. This is part of a national initiative to help strengthen ties between the local police force and the members of the communities in which they serve. This initiate is supported by the United States Dept. of Justice's office of community-oriented Policing services. All were welcome to stop by the Cafe and get to know local law officials.
