Newtown Cub Scouts Deliver One Ton of Food to Local Pantry
Cub Scout Pack 99 delivered nearly 2,500 pounds of food to the pantry to be distributed this week for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Cub Scout Pack 99 of Newtown delivered almost 2,500 pounds of food to the Penndel Food Pantry as part of the annual Boys Scouts of America “Scouting for Food” Drive.
The food was delivered to the pantry to be distributed this week for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Pack 99 collected non-perishable food items at home, from family and neighbors and during a food drive held at McCaffrey’s earlier in November.

Pack 99, which includes Cub Scouts in grades first through fifth, is chartered out of the Newtown Grant HOA.
