Newtown Democrats Holding Feb. 11 Rally
Democratic Party candidates for the 8th Congressional District will be at the rally, plus other candidates for local office.

Newtown Democrats will be holding a rally Feb. 11 at The Temperance House. All of the declared Democratic Party candidates for the 8th Congressional District and Pennsylvania Senate and House districts that represent Newtown will be featured speakers at the event, which will be held from 1 to 4 p.m.
Speakers who have accepted the invitation include Steve Bacher, Rachel Reddick and Scott Wallace, all of whom have announced their candidacies for the 8th Congressional District. Perry Warren, who is running for re-election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 31st Legislative District, will be there, too. Fisher said a soon-to-be-announced candidate for the Pennsylvania Senate 10th District will also appear at the event.
“This is a great opportunity for Newtown residents to meet the candidates and to find out what they can do to continue the historic successes Democratic candidates achieved in the 2017 elections,” said Dennis Fisher, chairperson of the Newtown Democrats.
