Newtown Easter Egg Hunt Set For March 19
All are invited to participate in this fun family event, where there will be prizes, candy and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Newtown’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the Newtown Business Association, is set for Saturday, March 19.
The free annual event is held at Pickering Manor Field in Newtown Borough. The hunt starts at 9 a.m. sharp; get there by 8:30 a.m. to participate.
“All are welcome to attend this traditional holiday activity celebrating the joy and fun of a good old-fashioned Easter Egg Hunt for both children and adults,” according to an event announcement.

The Easter Bunny will be on hand to meet children during the event. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Lower Bucks Food Bank, according to organizers.
The First National Bank of Newtown is donating 3,500 plastic Easter eggs, which will be filled with prizes from NBA member businesses and candy courtesy of Sam’s Club.

Kumon Math and Reading Center and Great Clips, both in Newtown, are the event sponsors.
The rain date is March 26.
To participate, arrive at Pickering Manor North Field, at the corner of Frost Street and Lincoln Avenue in Newtown Borough, at 8:30 a.m. The hunt will start promptly at 9 am.
“This lively event is over in less than one half hour and will create memories for all,” the event announcement said.
