Newtown Food Truck Fest Update: More Vendors Sign On

June 18 will be an extra tasty day in Newtown...

NEWTOWN, PA-- More vendors are signing up to participate in Newtown's first-ever Food Truck Fest, set for June 18 at Council Rock North. There are currently 11 confirmed food trucks — and counting — for the tasty event, to be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Father's Day.

Most recently, Smokin Chicks Got Wood BBQ has been announced as confirmed for the festival. If you couldn't tell from their name, that vendor serves up smoked brisket, pulled pork and more.

The Food Truck Fest is a fundraiser for the non-profit Newtown Theatre. There is a suggested donation of $10 for parking. All proceeds will benefit the theatre, which is the nation’s oldest continuously operating movie theatre.
