Newtown Holiday House Tour Set for Dec. 6

Check out some of Newtown’s most distinctive homes all decorated for the holidays during the 52nd annual Holiday Open House Tour on Dec. 6.

The tour, organized by the Newtown Historic Association, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will feature a dozen private and public properties.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online by clicking here. Tickets will also be sold the day of the tour at the Half Moon Inn and the Stocking Works.

During the event, the Half Moon Inn will feature open-hearth cooking, colonial music and re-enactors. Plus, there will be light refreshments. No photos or high-heeled shoes are allowed in the homes.

• Newtown Theatre
• The Half-Moon Inn
• Borough Hall
• Newtown United Methodist Church

• 204 E. Washington Avenue
• 113 Greene Street
• 4 Dunham Lane
• 257 S. State Street
• 231 S. Chancellor Street
