Newtown Irish Festival 2026: Dates, Schedule, More

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Irish Festival returns to the Green Parrot for its 17th year this month with 11 days of Irish music, dancing, food, and fun.

The festival begins on Thursday, March 5, and continues through Monday, March 17 at the Green Parrot Restaurant and Pub at 240 North Sycamore Street. A $10 cover charge applies for performances on March 7 and 8, March 12 to 15, and March 17. There is no cover on March 5, 9, 10, 11, and 16.

Special Irish fare will include the Parrot’s signature Corned Beef Eggrolls, Irish Nachos, Irish Potato Skins, Loaded Irish Fries, Irish Philly Cheesesteak, Guinness Irish Stew, Shamrock Sandwich, Reuben Pizza, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Fish and Chips, Bangers & Mash, Shepher's Pie, Reuben and Rachel sandwiches and fish and chips tacos.

Some of the Irish-themed drinks will include Irish Shamrock Espresso Martini, Boozy Shamrock Shake, Girl Scout Cookie Martinis, Irish Potato Tini, and the Lucky Charms Tini.

This year’s live entertainment lineup includes: Jamison Celtic Rock, Galway Guild, the Natterjacks, Go Go Gad Jet, Shot of Southern, the Juliano Brothers, Buzzer Band, Rustic Revival, the Wild Clovers, Hooligan Jack, Frank Daly, Ray Coleman, Mike Brill, Carl Stokking, Seamus McGrory, LJ Hall, CJ Mills, Shawn Durnin, Mike Shackleton and more.

In addition, the festival will feature Irish Step Dancing performances by Celtic Flame, Coyle, Fitzpatrick, Shades of Green, Crossroads, and Timoney.

There will also be face painting by Bently Designs on March 14 and 15 from 12 to 3 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. Also look for Scott the Balloon Artist on March 14 and 15 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Reservation Details

Table reservations are highly recommended and are now being accepted. Reservations may be made by calling 215-504-7277.

“We are expecting large crowds throughout the festival,” said the folks at the Parrot. “To guarantee seating for lunch or dinner, we highly suggest a reservation. Reservations allow you to skip any line or waitlist. Reservations are for dining room seating only.”
