Newtown to Kick Off 'Movies in the Park' on June 24
The annual outdoor film series will start next month at Linton Memorial Park. Movie titles have not yet been announced.
Newtown residents will again be able to enjoy weekly outdoor movies this summer thanks to the borough’s Movies in the Park series. Beginning June 24, movies will be screened Wednesdays at Linton Memorial Park, located at the corner of Lincoln and Penn streets.
Movies titles will be announced soon, according to organizers. Movies in the Park is free to attend. It is sponsored by the borough’s Park and Recreation Board.
