The man told police that he walked into the home from the front door the night before and thought it was his uncle’s home. He said he made his way downstairs in the basement with his belongings and his dog and went to sleep.

The homeowner told police he came home around 10 p.m. the night before and didn’t lock the front door. The resident chose not to press charges for burglary, however, a citation charging the unknown visitor with disorderly conduct will be issued.
