Newtown Movies In The Park Kicks Off Wednesday With 'Sing'

NEWTOWN, PA — Newtown Movies in the Park kicks off this Wednesday at Linton Memorial Park with a free screening of "Sing."

It's the first of five family-friendly movies that will be screened outdoors as part of the annual series. Movies begin at 8 p.m. Linton Memorial Park is across the street from the CVS in Newtown Borough.

Here's the full Movies in the Park 2017 schedule:

• June 28: "Sing" rated PG
• July 12: "Moana" rated PG
• July 19: "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" rated PG-13
• July 26: "The Secret Life Of Pets" rated PG
• Aug. 2: "School of Rock" rated PG-13
