Newtown Republican Committee Schedules Candidate Screening Meeting
The Newtown Republican Committee will hold a meeting to screen candidates for local office on Feb. 26 at The Temperance House.
The Newtown Republican Committee will hold a meeting to screen candidates for local office on Feb. 26 at The Temperance House.
Anyone interested in seeking the endorsement of the Republican Party for the following offices in 2017 should attend:
- Newtown Borough Mayor
- Newtown Borough Council
- Newtown Borough Tax Collector
- Newtown Township Supervisor
- Newtown Township Tax Collector
- Newtown Township Auditor
- Council Rock School Board Region 9
The meeting will begin at 7 pm. The Temperance House is located at 5 South State Street, Newtown.
