Newtown Scouts are Snow Angels
Scouts from Troops 29 and 99 in Newtown did several good turns Sunday in the bitter aftermath of the Valentine's Day storm.

Scouts from Troops 29 and 99 in Newtown did several good turns Sunday in the aftermath of the Valentine’s Day storm. Participating in the Newtown Snow Angels program, the local Scouts cleared off driveways and sidewalks for those who are unable to do it themselves because of age or disability.

Team Shikrallah from Troop 29, which is chartered by Newtown Church of God’s Love, was out at 7 a.m. shoveling in Windermere and Headley Trace.
Scouts from Troop 99, which is chartered by the Newtown Grant Homeowners Master Association, sent Team Pursel to Newtown Grant while their Team Davies took on Nob Hill and Colonial Commons.
