Newtown Starbucks Set To Reopen Wednesday
Improvements are done and inspections have been completed at the State Street Starbucks, which has been given the go-ahead to reopen.
We know you Starbucks lovers of Newtown have been on a roller coaster ride the past few weeks, wondering when the State Street location will officially reopen. First we told you it was going to reopen last weekend. Then that was postponed until this weekend.
But good news: improvements are done, inspections have been completed and Starbucks has been given the go ahead to reopen, official sources tell Patch.
The coffee shop will reopen Wednesday morning but the official ribbon cutting and grand opening will still be held this Saturday, Feb. 24, said Gerry Couch of the Newtown Business Association.
