Newtown Strawberry Festival Moved Indoors Due To Forecast

Saturday's Strawberry Festival has been moved indoors to the Newtown Presbyterian Church on N. Chancellor Street due to the predicted rain.

The festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests will be able to enjoy all the same food, fun and entertainment, just in an indoor setting. Festivities will include children's games and activities, fresh-picked strawberries and cakes, musical entertainment, and more.

It's the first time the popular strawberry festival has been held indoors, organizers say. Usually it is held at the Historic Presbyterian Church on Sycamore Street.
