Newtown Theatre Hosting Classic Film Night Series

Do you love classic films? You're in luck: The Newtown Theatre's Classic Film Series gets underway this Thursday with a screening of "Singin' in the Rain."

The film series continues monthly through November with a variety of beloved classics including "Citizen Kane," "The Godfather," and "The Sound of Music."

Films begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at the box office prior to the start of the movie. Tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for seniors and students; $7 for children 12 and younger and $5 for theatre members.

Here is the Classic Film Series schedule:

• Singin' in the Rain, March 30
• Citizen Kane, April 27
• Titanic, May 25
• The Godfather, June 29
• Mr. Smith Goes To Washington, July 27
• Breakfast at Tiffany's, Aug. 31
• The Maltese Falcon, Sept. 28
• Young Frankenstein, Oct. 26
• The Sound of Music, Nov. 23
