Newtown Theatre Joins Orchestra To Present 'Peter And The Wolf'

Children and adults will discover the beauty of live classical music and enjoy a fun and nurturing educational experience.

NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The historic Newtown Theatre will host the Newtown Chamber Orchestra’s annual performance of “Peter and the Wolf” on Sunday, April 14 at 3 p.m.

The narrated, family-friendly concert includes audience participation, an instrumental “petting zoo” that gives children the chance to touch musical instruments and speak with their players, and a take-home booklet of fun educational materials.

Children and adults will discover the beauty of live classical music and enjoy a fun and nurturing educational experience. The concert’s length and content are sensitive to the attention span of young children.

Tickets are $27 for adults, $22 for theatre members, and $17 for children 12 and under when purchased online at TheNewtownTheatre.com/concerts . Tickets purchased at the door on the day of the performance are $25 for everyone.
