EWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Pioneering reggae artist Bob Marley would have turned 78 in February. To celebrate his birthday, the Newtown Theatre presents “The Best of Bob Marley … And More” on Saturday, February 11 at 8 p.m.

The concert will feature "Crucial," a Philadelphia-based band known for its powerfully original style of roots, rock, and reggae. Crucial’s Newtown concert will feature songs celebrating the music and legacy of Bob Marley, reggae-inspired covers, and select original songs culled from the band’s nearly 20-year history.

Crucial has spread a message of love, equality, and positive energy through their music since the band’s founding in 2003. Since then, they have shared the stage with artists such as Sizzla, The Wailers, Luciano, Israel Vibration, and many others.
