Newtown Theatre Raising Money To Make Christmas Movie Series Free
The Newtown Theatre has launched a $12,000 fundraising campaign to make its Christmas classics movie series free for all.

NEWTOWN, PA — Help the Newtown Theatre offer its Christmas classic movie series for free this year. The local theatre has launched a fundraising campaign to offset the cost of the series and make it free for all.
"Christmas classic movies are a tradition at the historic Newtown Theatre. Each year, thousands of people of all ages enjoy timeless films like 'Miracle on 34th Street' and 'It’s a Wonderful Life' and newer hits like 'Elf' and 'Home Alone'," the theatre said in an announcement about the fundraiser.
But this year, the non-profit theatre wants to make all of its Christmas classics free. The fundraising goal for the effort is $12,000.
