Ok, well the theater is already there but organizers are building a special event for Father's Day, complete with a screening of "Field of Dreams" plus giveaways, peanuts and Cracker Jacks as concessions and old-time baseball players posing for pictures.

The special Father’s Day screening of “Field of Dreams” will be held on Sunday, June 19 at 4 p.m.

Tickets will be available at the box office starting at 3:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults, $8 for students or seniors 60 years and older, and $7 for children 12 years and younger.

The event is sponsored by Isaac Newton’s Bar and Restaurant in Newtown. After the film, fathers and children are invited to grab a burger and root beer at Isaac Newton’s, where a “Field of Dreams” movie stub is good for $5 off of $20 or more (offer valid only on June 19, excludes alcohol).
