Newtown Theatre To Screen Oscar Nominee 'Manchester By The Sea'

"Manchester by the Sea," which has been nominated for six Oscars, including Best Picture, will be screened in Newtown this weekend for a limited run.

The Newtown Theatre will show the film, which stars Casey Affleck, Michelle Williams and Kyle Chandler, on Friday and Saturday. Showtimes are:

• Friday, February 10: 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, February 11: 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

"Manchester by the Sea" is the story of an uncle who is asked to care for his teen nephew after his brother's sudden passing. The film was written and directed by Kenneth Lonergan.
