'Batman: The Movie' Brings Campy Fun To Newtown Theatre
The movie follows the Dynamic Duo as they try to stop four supervillains who plan to hold the world for ransom.

NEWTOWN, Pa. — Holy special event, Batman! The historic Newtown Theatre will screen 1966’s “Batman: The Movie” in all its campy glory on Friday, July 15.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the movie will start at 8 p.m. In the hour leading up to the movie, guests will enjoy one complimentary drink (beer, wine, canned cocktail, or a special Batman-themed cocktail), free popcorn, a series of riddles, a photo booth, Batman decorations, special contests and prizes.
Based on the iconic 1960s television series, “Batman: The Movie” features Adam West as Batman, Burt Ward as Robin, Lee Meriwether as Catwoman, Cesar Romero as the Joker, Burgess Meredith as the Penguin, and more.
