Newtown Theatre Showing "Finding Dory" On Early School Dismissal Days

The theater is bringing back one of 2016's biggest movies this and next week.

The Newtown Theatre is offering up showing of one of 2016's biggest and most popular movies to give kids something to do on early dismissal days before the Thanksgiving break.

Beginning Friday, the theater will show Disney's "Finding Dory" every day leading up to Thanksgiving.

Shows on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will be at 1:30 p.m., perfect for kids who have early dismissal from school.

  • Friday, Nov. 18: 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 19: 4 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 20: 1:30 p.m.
  • Monday, Nov. 21: 1:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 22: 1:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 23: 1:30 p.m.

"Finding Dory" is the sequel to 2003's "Finding Nemo" and tells the tale of the forgetful fish Dory as she tries to find her family. The movie has earned over $1 billion dollars since it was released in June and has a94 percent "fresh" rating from movie review site Rotten Tomatoes.
