Newtown Township Accepting Applications For Supervisor Seat
The board is seeking to fill the seat held by Mike Gallagher, who was recently confirmed as Bucks County's next Controller.
Newtown Township is now accepting resumes for residents interested filling an unexpired term on the Board of Supervisors.
The vacancy is to fill the seat recently held by Mike Gallagher, who has resigned after being confirmed as Bucks County's next Controller.
The person appointed to finish out Gallagher's term will serve as a member of the Board of Supervisors until the reorganization meeting in January 2018.

The board will interview candidates at the public meetings on Aug. 15, Aug. 17 and Aug. 22.
To be considered, submit a letter of interest and resume must be received by Aug. 12 at 4 p.m. Letters of interest and resumes can be mailed to 100 Municipal Drive, Newtown, Pennsylvania, 18940, emailed to oliviak@newtownpa.gov or faxed to 215-968-5368 – Attention: Olivia Kivenko.
